Intro: Home built GPS with BladeRF

BladeRF is a very interesting Software Defined Radio. The frequency range includes the frequencies used for Global Navigation Systems.

Goal of this project: program BladeRF to use GNSS to show its position

Steps:

  • buy a BladeRF board (available in june)
  • install linux (perhaps using VMWare in Windows 7 on my laptop)
  • install software to program the FPGA
  • install software to use the FPGA (perhaps Octavo)
